Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico. She's an American-Mexican actress. She sings as well. She was raised by her mom in the USA she had to face many racial slurs and made her feel being unwelcome. She began to gain confidence at the age of nineteen when she appeared in an audition. She received a lot of praise by the judges for her vocal ability. This experience did not just help to boost her confidence, but also changed her goals in life. The 22-year-old earned a degree from Julliard School in New York. She was 23 when she had her first Broadway show with Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her film debut You've Got Mail were both major break. The part in The lad from The Lake became her biggest break, earning an award for her performance, an award called the Tony Award in addition to praise from critics for her performance. The following year, she was cast as Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gaining wider fame. As a well-known singer, she has also released both a song and a play. As an activist, she strives to promote LGBT equality.
